LSU issued the following statement on Friday on behalf of Colby Delahoussaye's Family regarding the tragic car crash last week in Wisconsin. Per LSUSports.net:
quote:

Statement from Delahoussaye Family

“Our family sincerely appreciates the outpouring of support for Colby since the accident last weekend. The number of calls, emails and text messages that we have received from people throughout the country has been overwhelming and much appreciated. Colby is in good hands with treatment to his injuries and he’s making progress with his recovery.

“We ask that you continue to pray for the families of Mike Sadler and Sam Foltz during this very difficult time. Mike and Sam were wonderful young men who Colby had great admiration for. Please keep their families in your thoughts and prayers.”

LSU asks that you please respect the Delahoussaye’s privacy as Colby continues to recover from the accident. All requests for the Delahoussaye family should be directed to Michael Bonnette at mbonnet@lsu.edu. Please do not contact the family directly for interview requests as they would prefer that the above statement serve as their comment.

He is wondering why he was spared by God and what purpose God has for his life in the future....which are big Christian questions he will be pondering for many months.

Man I bet the injuries are the least of his worries. I would be an emotional wreck after being in the same car that killed 2 of my friends.

All of this. I pray for the families of the two boys that got killed, and I pray for the Delahoussaye family as well. Being that Colby is a Cajun, I bet he's got a lot of good, strong family support around him, and I bet he gets through to the other side all right.
