Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE – Louisiana Tech has been added to LSU’s 2025 football schedule as the Bulldogs will serve as the home opener for the Tigers that year, the school’s announced on Friday.

LSU opens the 2025 season at Clemson on Aug. 30 followed by the Louisiana Tech contest in Tiger Stadium on Sept. 6. The other non-conference game currently on LSU’s 2025 schedule is a Nov. 22 matchup against Western Kentucky in Tiger Stadium.

The Tigers are 19-1 all-time against Louisiana Tech with the most recent contest coming in 2018, a 38-21 LSU win in Baton Rouge.

Good. I would much rather play a state school than some directional school from the Midwest.

Much better playing instate schools as far as tax money concerns. The 800k or so is a huge part of their athletic budget. Better it goes to Monroe, Ruston etc... Than Kentucky or Nevada.

I like the LaTech Game, but that Western Kentucky game is what I’m tired of as a season tickets holder

I don't know but I think both of them would have beat us last year. Thank God that debacle is over

LSU should come up to Ruston or play in Shreveport once every couple of years.
