LSU DL Neil Farrell Jr. Accepts Senior Bowl Invite

Team no longer exist. SELF is all that matters and today's generation only knows "look at me".

SR Bowl has more scouts than Texas Bowl. Makes business sense.

We live in a “cancel culture.” We are quicker now to draw conclusion and rush to judge other without much information or basis to do so. Some of the people who are most selfish are quickest to negatively label everyone else who does not conform to their narratives and wishes. We all want to win our bowl game. We all want every player to in our bowl games. That makes us loyal reasonable fans. Throwing the baby out with the bath water is not reasonable. What Leonard Fournette has done in the NFL, representing LSU, including the Super Bowl win, far outweighs his sitting out of his last college Bowl game opportunity. If he or Farrell were one of our kids, we would look at the prospect of being drafted to make millions a little differently. Being selected to play in the Senior Bowl makes one an All-Star who get to work with NFL personnel, before the draft. It is a huge opportunity to be compared to other All-Stars and a much bigger task than electing to play in a bowl game. It Is an opportunity to establish priceless relationships. Rag me. I’m not one to normally complain or question person decisions when it comes to business, but I do here. There is nothing that isn’t already on tape and the purpose of hiring an agent is to get that tape out there and start marketing. He should be focusing on the prep for the draft and letting his body heal. This is hypocritical. No two ways to look at it. He quit his team. Bad form.

Senior bowl, but no Texas bowl??? Not very consistent for a REAL tiger...hence, you ain't no REAL tiger...unless the senior bowl will guarantee no one gets hurt, if that's the reasoning...Texas bowl will be much more brutal, of course, lol.

They say the Senior Bowl practices with NFL coaches can do more for a player’s draft stock than the game itself. In any event, exposure to NFL coaches, plus he’s from Mobile, for sure more valuable than opportunity to “dominate” K-State’s 2nd string o-line in the Texas Bowl.

I see him being a mid to late round pick but I think he'll start around for a while. He's a solid player and will be an asset for a team. GEAUX TIGERS! always enjoyed watching him play.

Brian Kelly made a major career decision to leave Notre Dame to coach LSU. He was Notre Dame’s team leader. Does that erase everything he did for Notre Dame? The voice of reason says, no. That does not make him a quitter. But, some Notre Dame fans would say the same things about him that are being said about Farrell here.
