Four-star LSU freshman defensive end Arden Key has been cleared to play by the NCAA, according to Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette who spoke with The Advocate:
quote:

Key, a 6-foot-5, 230-pounder from Georgia, is one of the most highly regarded recruits in a 2015 Tigers signing class ranked as high as No. 5 in the nation. Key was not cleared in time to begin summer school two weeks ago with the other signees, but he will report when fall camp begins, Bonnette said.
Key, a 6-5, 228-pound prospect from Atlanta, GA (Hapeville Charter) was rated the No. 4 weak-side defensive end in the country and the No. 9 overall player from the state of Georgia for the class of 2015.

Rime for the SEC to step in and make sure the NCAA did its job correctly.

Why is he not being allowed to attend Summer School because the "Gestapo Bastards" (NCAA) drag their feet on eligibility issues.....

I thought he was one of the best players in the All American game he was in (offense and defense both). He's going to be a pass rushing beast.
