LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda was named one of 15 semifinalists for the Broyles Award, which is given annually to the nation's top assistant coach.

Aranda, currently in his third season as LSU's DC, coaches the linebackers and is an associate head coach to Ed Orgeron.
