The LSU Men's Basketball team was picked to finish last by a select panel of both SEC and national media members this week.

Kentucky was predicted to win the 2017 SEC Championship.

LSU did not have any players named to the preseason All-SEC First or Second team.

Voting for SEC player of the year resulted in a three-way tie between Georgia forward Yante Maten, Texas A&M forward Robert Williams and Missouri forward Michael Porter. Per SECSports.com:

We still have no post game, no depth at what bigs we do have. But still I was shocked by this! We will have some of the best guard play in the conference and hopefully a full court defense that will rattle the one's who take us for granted.

Yep basketball is different. Hoping they go 50%. It will take 3 years for a turnaround. But Will is the right choice

With the way that he goes after transfers, I don't think we'll have to wait 3 years for a turnaround.

No problem with this...better to exceed expectations than to promise something that may not come.
