LSU Athletics
During a virtual town hall with The Advocate on Thursday, LSU athletic director Scott Woodward said that he is speaking with Michigan about playing the Wolverine in football sometime in the future.

Woodward also said they would love to schedule Tulane but that Tulane would want it to be a home-and-home, which doesn't make sense for LSU.

LSU has enough non-conference cupcakes. I guess one more won't hurt.

Sounds like USC in the new stadium being built in LA metro. We are already playing UCLA in a home and home. No LSU fan wants to see that game moved from the Rose Bowl to a “neutral” site

I was thinking it was Las Vegas.

Would have meant more to do this when Les was coach. We had a sorry arse AD then.

Home and home with Tulane. Like that’s gonna happen.

For the sake of all things college football, make it a home-home series. Please, unless it's some labor day season opener, no more Power 5 neutral site match-ups.

Agree, plus it's not balls cold yet at the beginning of the season in Michigan. Plus plus I hope they continue their recent streak of choking.

PillageUrVillage - the Michigan folks I know are pretty good at drinking (maybe not LSU good, but still).

I live about 30 minutes from the Big House...it isn’t that big or impressive tbh. My experience at a Michigan game was very underwhelming...they’ll also talk to you about how great they are at everything.

Harbaugh will spin off the planet doing 'cart wheels' trying to get his club up to the LSU player standard.

Unfortunately Harbaugh might be gone before we play them if he doesn’t beat Ohio State here soon

This would be great.

I’m not even sure how a home-and-home makes sense for Tulane, it has to be true that they’d get more revenue in Tiger Stadium right?

Tulane would sell out their season tickets if it was a home and home. They would make buying a Season ticket a requirement if you want LSU game ticket.

@BeatBamaBad, I see. That makes sense then.

Any chance to play in NOLA is good for crooting, in my opinion. I would sacrifice a home game that will be empty by the the 3rd quarter in tiger stadium for a game in NOLA

For 2 comparable teams who have played football for as long as they have, it still amazes me that LSU and Michigan have never played a football game against each other.

I’ve got several close friends as UM alums. This would be a classic party before and after the game. I’ve been to a game up there, and while not as rowdy and loud as Tiger Stadium, it’s still an awesome experience.
