LSU has faced one the toughest schedules this season, going a perfect 15-0 with seven wins coming against Top-10 AP opponents.

The Tigers knocked off Alabama in Tuscaloosa, took down Georgia in the SEC Championship, dismantled Oklahoma in the CFP semifinal and beat Clemson by 17 points in the National Championship.

While those games were LSU's biggest wins of the seasons, center Lloyd Cushenberry thinks that Auburn was the Tigers' toughest game this season.

Ask each position group and I would bet you’d get lots of different answers from each if none knew the answer from the others.

Probably, but that is why his question was directed at cush specifically, right? lol

Toughest Game =/= Toughest Opponent. That was probably the worst LSU played all season in the worst conditions.

Imagine if he hadn't been allowed to blatantly hold all game?

Real football players don't allow themselves to be held the whole game.

He’s right you know! Yes mud. Yes we got yardage. But the Gorilla on the field was Auburn’s line men.

Translation: the muddy field against auburn was our toughest opponent.

500 yards fluke we didn’t put 40 on them

I thought the Stingley fumble saved Auburn from getting it turned around on them in a hurry.

Which is why Orgeron needs to at least talk to Kevin Steele.

It wasnt Steele. Derrick Brown is a grown arse man and was giving Lloyd all he could handle that day. Just watch clips from the game. Never seen a 320 lb OL with sunk hips get moved like that before.

Kevin Steele went BACK to Auburn for the Alabama state pension. That is well documented. Why would he leave now?

KEVIN Steele is not coming here because of his pension in Alabama school system. He said that several years ago.

Considering he was matched up against Auburn’s D-line all game, and it was only a 3 point victory, not surprising.
