Trust me les, LSU fans are sad you didn’t get it too. It would have saved us 4 more years of mediocrity

I wished it would have worked out too! Maybe then we could have gotten rid of that ancient offense a few years sooner and actually accomplished something with the talent that passed through LSU under your watch.

Couldn't leave Saban's talent.

Les has talked about his love for LSU and for Louisiana until we could all throw up. Now he says something somewhat complimentary of his alma mater and LSU fans act like some teenage girl that need constant affirmation. Damn.

'Zackly. Thank you for your response. Les stayed at LSU when he could have coached his alma mater. I respect him and love him for that. I wish only the best for him on all his future endeavors.

Not a good sound for CLM, sounds as if he regrets not going to UM, Its unfortunate that he feels that way. Had he not laid an egg in 2012 NC game against the gumps no les, he'd have been a legend in BR forever.

of course he regrets not going to UM but they were too smart to hire him. He rode the Saban wave and continues to fool LSU fans to this day.

Well they hired Brady Hoke so I wouldn’t say they were too smart to hire Les. I think he would have done well at Michigan.

I always figured that he wouldn't change his style of play at LSU because he wanted the Michigan job someday and he thought it would be best to show Michigan that he would never waiver from that old-fashioned Michigan style of play.

I sad it did not either. We would have at least one more championship with him leaving.

I was very sad and disappointed it didn't work out as well. As I wanted Les gone forever.

People need thicker skin. Coaches are usually hired mercenaries unless they are coaching for their alma mater for sentimental reasons - and even then, they can usually be lured away with $. Have a nice day.

No. LSU put up with a lot and kept Les far longer than many schools would have. LSU finally had no choice after Les was leading LSU to a disasterous season after losing to Wisconsin and Auburn in a debacle. LSU had given Miles a chance to change but Miles refused and kept Cam Cameron. Interestingly enough one of the 1st things Orgeron did was fire Cameron's arse. The staff knew Cameron was a joke. LSU should have let Miles go several years earlier. No LSU fans don't need thicker skin. Miles needs to stop running his mouth.

Open mouth and insert foot. Les, you just burned all the goodwill that the Tiger Nation had for you. Good bye, and good reddens. I supported you, now to only learn that we were your 2nd choices. screw you, Les!!!!

Hope he can coach Michigan one day. Les is one of the good guys. Will always have a special place in my heart for him.

Nope. Les burned his bridges with me. He can go apply for janitor at Michigan for all I care. Screw Les Miles.

Just barely remember him but we rarely got our tales blown out. Ask me and he did pretty decent job. Not Saban good but decent

I don't think he would have lasted very long at Michigan.
