LSU freshman running back Leonard Fournette got his first touchdown as a Tiger on a 4-yard rush against Sam Houston State on Saturday night.

Following the touchdown, Fournette struck the Heisman pose and then made his way to the LSU sideline where Les Miles was waiting for him and obviously not happy.

During a halftime interview with SEC Network's Maria Taylor, coach Miles had this to say:
quote:

"This is about a team and about what we're trying to get accomplished, and I just needed him to understand that,"

He did the pose for all of the fans and people that ridiculed him after the first game. People who have never played football but critique him anyway. LF is a good young man and will be a great tiger
