After living through Hurricane Katrina as a young kid in New Orleans, former LSU running back Leonard Fournette is no stranger to natural disasters.

This is not the first time that Fournette has helped out in times of devastation as he donated the sales from his game worn jersey to flood victims in South Carolina two years ago.

Leonard Fournette is and has been the epitome of first class since the day he stepped foot on LSU's campus. He's a very special human being.

It's not even about the amount, it's just the fact that a big time pro athlete is giving to people in need. It's awesome. Also nice to see an NFL athlete doing GOOD in the news. Need more of it.

Not enough superlatives for this guy. Kids: You want role models? This is a good one! No disrespect of the flag or anyone, for that matter. He just leads by example. A class act all the way!

Very solid. 2x what The Rock donated. Understandable given the trajectory of their careers.

I think it's awesome. However, if I just got 18mil...I would give up more than 50,000. Just saying!
