Ryan Wilson with CBS Sports updated his NFL Mock Draft this week and has five LSU players getting selected in the first round.
quote:

No. 1 Cincinnati Bengals - Joe Burrow:

Joe Burrow made it clear at the combine that he would play for the Bengals. That should end the speculation ... though we imagine it won't.

No. 12 Las Vegas Raiders - K'Lavon Chaisson:

K'Lavon Chaisson might be only 254 pounds but he plays with such strength and leverage that he frequently marches offensive tackles that outweigh him by 50 pounds into the quarterback's lap. He needs to play with more consistency, but that will come with experience.

No. 19 Las Vegas Raiders - Patrick Queen:

Yes, we know, Henry Ruggs is still on the board. But GM Mike Mayock talked during the combine about how hard it is to predict how WRs will translate to the next level. Meanwhile, the Raiders very quietly had one of the best rookie draft classes last season and they'll look to build on that this spring. Queen flashed early and often during the national title game and those 60 minutes of football served as a microcosm of his 2019 season.

No. 24 New Orleans Saints - Justin Jefferson:

Jefferson told us at the combine that he would surprise a lot of people with his speed and he went out and ran 4.43. At 6-1, 200 pounds, he dominated from the slot last season for the Tigers, but he can also play outside. Wherever he lines up, Jefferson would make New Orleans' offense even more potent.

No. 32 Kansas City Cheifs - Kristian Fulton:

The Chiefs defense improved steadily this season, right through the Super Bowl win. And while the secondary was pleasantly surprising at times, Kendall Fuller and Bashaud Breeland will be free agents in the spring. Fulton had an up-and-down 2019 campaign but is undoubtedly a first-round talent -- which was also the case a year ago when he considered leaving school early.

No Delpit?

chaisson is more than just an edge rusher. he was asked to fill holes until late in the season, and he did really well. consistency isn't a problem, unless you count playing 2 different positions as the inconsistency

Chaisson is probably going to ATL.

I believe the Eagles will take Jefferson at 21 before the Saints

This is a trash mock draft. He says that Neville Gallimore has a high motor. Literally the only knock against this freak athlete is that he has an inconsistent motor. Also, the Saints don’t draft LSU players.

Delpit is going to be a 1st Round pick. He has the highest floor of any LSU player coming out when healthy

I immediately disregard any mock that doesn't have Delpit going in the 1st.

Agreed. He’s a first round lock in my opinion.

Like I said below (and somehow got downvotes), this is a terrible mock draft.

Insane. Could been 6 too without Delpit's struggles last season.

Jefferson would be awesome if he fell to NO but I just don’t see it after his impressive combine. He just seems like a more athletic Lance Moore. Precise route runner so someone Drew can always count on to be right where he needs to be.

Where’s Delpit?

Not crazy really...and not crazy to think we might break the record for most players drafted.

LSU might break the record for most drafted but one mock draft had 10 Bama players going in the first 5 picks??

JJ to the Saints is a yes

Rarely do teams go crazy for WR in 1st round and JJ is not a 1st among WR's (deep draft for WR's). I see him as early 2nd round pick. As far as Delpit is concerned, he will be a mid 2nd or early 3rd round pick.

I’m willing to bet every penny i have and will earn in the future against your double wide that delpit doesn’t even come close to making it to the mid 2nd to 3rd.

JJ is only a three star, chasing those big names ahead of him. This is true, unless you count all of his grabs when we needed it, his work ethic, and all those DB's he made quit. He didn't get as much press, but his production as an LSU Tiger was noticed by the scouts. He's going to be rich, bitch!
