@Daponch he answered the questions he was asked, he never deviated to show he's not focused on his job, and do not even begin to try put any damper on what he's done for LSU as our defensive leader this year

I understand the Chavis situation but Beckwith needs to concentrate on his job. And doing it better than he has the last couple of games

That makes Chavis look really bad. No matter why he left to never speak to his players again or tell them he is leavings just classless.

I don't care what happened between Chavis and LSU. Leaving without talking to his players at all is one of the most classless and chickenshit things that a coach in his position could do. And as far as Chavis molding Beckwith, I have to question that too. Chavis had Welter ahead of Beckwith on the depth chart.

Chavis bolted because they were trying to push Miles out. LSU only lost 3 jrs to the draft this year, so I guess not all if them believe that. And to be honest, none of them would come here if they believed they weren't going to be coached up.

But let me guess, you think every kid coming out of hs is NFL ready. LF wasn't even NFL ready.

What does anything in that interview have to do with leaving early? And stop hanging on to 110-32. Since 2011 this team is 2-9 against Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss. With SEC records going from 8-0 to 6-2,5-3, 4-4 and 4-3 with one to play. A quarterback has not been recruited and developed in the last 11 years. Russell and Flynn were not recruited by this staff. Mettenberger was a junior college transfer and he and Lee sat on the bench while this offense didn't cross the 50 yard line in the 21-0 debacle championship game. This interview has nothing to do with anything except the fact that John Chavis was talking on the phone to Kevin Sumlin the same day he was supposed to getting his defense ready to play a game against ND. And now we know why they were totally unprepared for that game. We also know that he turned down 1.8 million to stay at LSU. If you like mediocrity then become a fan of Kentucky football. I like Les. He's a great guy but this is a multimillion dollar football program that has not performed since losing to Alabama 21-0. And maybe one of the reasons we lose so many juniors is because they don't feel like they are going to develop any more under the current regime if they stay the extra year.

What an awful interview full of negative questions, to LSU's star defensive leader, by our very own local media. John Chavis helped mold Beckwith into being a competent MLB. No wonder why Juniors leave early, who would stay? LSU's education system nearly went bankrupt and our head ball coach is getting fired after going 110-32 in 11 long seasons.
