LSU defensive back Kary Vincent Jr. met with the media on Tuesday and had nothing but high praise for freshman cornerback Derek Stingley, calling him a "once-in-lifetime" kind of player.

Here's everything Vincent said on Tueday:

The talent in the secondary! Fulton, Vincent, Stingley with Jacoby Stevens and #7 MR Delpit at safety with more freshmen coming! How about Marcel Brooks and two sport athlete and Mr. Tennessee Maurice Hampton coming in with elite talent as well as Donta Lee with a lot of potential. DBU has a bright future and several capable players! Much more depth than we saw vs. UCF last year... get ready, GeauxTigers!

I remember CB Kary Vincent Jr. I can't recall if it was the Under Armour practices are some other all-star game practices, but he was going around interviewing all the LSU commitments and targets. I thought to myself that we were getting a very special player and I couldn't be more prouder of this young man than I am now, this kid was raised right. And did y'all read his comment on the defense it's the best he's been a part of in the 3 years he's been here and all the '19 class hasn't reported yet, DAMN!!! Ahhh man I just can't wait for this class to report and this team really comes together it's going to be one of the most complete teams LSU has put on the field in a long time. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!PURPLEREIGN?????????

Always loves me some Vincent. He was an all star recruit for us too and took a leadership role.

Fulton, KV, Stingley locking it down with Jacoby Stevens AND #7 Grant Delpit (the best safety in college football) and let's give Marcel Brooks time to get to campus! He's another Grant Delpit in the making. Same length, body type, also can play linebacker if he bulked up! TALENT at DBU 2019! @GeauxTigers
