Joel Klatt Has Conspiracy Theory Involving Nick Saban, Steve Sarkisian & LSU

If you didn't hear the news earlier this week, Alabama's Nick Saban hired former USC head coach Steve Sarkisian to be analyst on the staff.

Well Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt has a theory as to why Saban hired Sarkisian and it involves LSU.

Klatt thinks that Saban hired because Sarkisian because "he knew LSU was going to struggle offensively and he didn't want them to have a an offensive coordinator on the market to hire right away for this season."

Saban always reacts before a problem occurs. Because he's a good manager he sets his people up to succeed by heading off the problems before they are problems. Miles reacts after the problems have become three alarm fires.

Where do they get the money to hire all these "analyst"? The have recruiting analyst, offense analyst and defense analyst also analyst to analyze the analyst. Where is the NCAA on this. These guys aren't working for chump change. The cost for students must be 30% higher to pay these guys. Is it state tax dollars?

OldSarge38 - the athletic department at UA is LOADED. Saban is an investment for them. They donate millions back to the university (as does LSU). A portion of Alabama's athletic donations are earmarked to fund purely academic scholarships.

If LSU wanted Sark this season, LSU would get Sark. Although, it's not the best idea to bring an alcoholic to Louisiana

OR...he's planning for Kiffen's departure after this season for a head coaching gig and he won't skip a beat offensively in 2018 with Shark having a full year under his belt in Bama. Actually a pretty damn smart move.

You can buy and drink alcohol anywhere that won't stop an alcoholic. Saban is just prepping Sark to fill Lane Kiffin's spot when Kiffin takes over the Tigers next year.
