Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow was Ian Rapoport's podcast this week and said that he has already received a call from Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, welcoming him to the team. Per BengalsWire.com:
quote:

“Yeah he reached out and just welcomed me to the team. I had met him before all this coronavirus craziness started, out in California I just went up and introduced myself. So we have met each other twice now I guess.

Guess that anon NFL scout who said a ginger QB wouldn't make a ripple in the NFL so they had Dalton down their list was right about him.

Shouldn't be any hard feelings - Dalton has had a decent run and some playoff appearances. I'm sure he'd be thrilled to have a fresh start somewhere else. Sees like a good dude.

Dalton has a net worth of $25 million, a hot wife, 2 good kids, and will get signed somewhere else. He will be OK.
