The new LSU locker room, which was funded by private donations through TAF, has been a hot topic ever since it was unveiled on social media Sunday.

The new renovations have been discussed on The Dan Patrick Show, debated by former Tiger Eric Reid, and even brought up by an LSU professor on Twitter.

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow responded Mann on Twitter but later deleted the tweet. Here's what he said:

We should want all facilities at LSU to be excellent. That's really all anyone is saying, and it should be what we all want. This here is a perfect example of an excellent facility.

I'm pretty sure no professor is vacuuming their own office. Drama queen.

Funny how the less educated people are, the less important education becomes.

Education is just another tool in your bag to communicate with the world and perhaps be able to get noticed for that first job. At the college level it's become a liberal indoctrination process that not only skews the views of young impressionable minds effectively turning them into snowflake liberals, but straddles them with huge debts that take years to overcome.

Piano an, that sounds like a description of college from someone who never went to college. Calculus professors and English literature professors teach their subjects. They're not indoctrination impressionable minds into shouting math at you or trying to live as people did in the time of Shakespeare. Read back what you're saying, dude. The college experience isn't a bunch of clandestine commy meet ups. It's going to boring classes, studying, and drinking.

LSU shutting down agricultural research for pot.

Deja Poo, same old crap from the left screaming about equal pay like the men playing on the US women's soccer team who want equal pay when the men's side brings in 20X the revenue that women's soccer does. The professors make too much in my opinion, especially the far left looney's like this guy. I'd rather pay for my son to sit and watch paint dry than pay to have him indoctrinated by leftists who don't know squat about real life.

You sure put a hell of a lot words in that professor's mouth. Not liking sports doesn't make you a leftist, but crapping on people's right to complain about a lack of resources to complete their jobs, while admitting that you would't let your son receive an education, might make you a bumpkin fascist.

I spent 22 years in the military learning about “real life” but just turned down an assistant professor position at a Louisiana school b/c it paid 45K/year, less than 1/3 my military salary. No one is saying the players don’t deserve nice facilities; they are asking why faculty members don’t. After all, the university produces thousands of graduates a year but only a few football players.

If faculty wants nice shite then faculty can do something to convince private citizens to give them their private money. Stfu pussy

Burrow has the leverage to go HAM. And took full advantage of it. Good for him #leader

Its cuz hes near useless and cant justify his own value to be greater than deserving such a vacuum.

Is the teacher whinnying because he has to vacuum his own office or is it because of the dustbuster he bought himself? Because im very sure this guy makes a handsome salary and can buy his own 100 dollar vacuum.

Robert Mann ... why does that name sound familiar? I feel like he’s been a little bitch about something political in the last year or so.

Wonder when the last time Bob (Robert) Mann had 103,000 paying people show up to watch his class take a Mass comm, journalism, or history test?

I read your quote in James Caan's voice.

Judging by the comments here, LSU needs to put some money into the English department. Half of you dont know how to use your/you're.

Kind of like some people don't use an apostrophe in the word "don't".

Typical socialist dem - I want what you have because I cannot obtain it on my own merit because my merit is not what people want to pay for. A political hack that has lived off the government teett his entire life complaining because he wants more of someone else's stuff. It is like he is a pig from animal farm.

Robert Mann, I never made the team so I hate you attitude.

How many games did Robert Mann win last year?

Holy frick so many misinformed liberals in that tweet thread. Tell the piece of shite LA Government to redo its Constitution, relinquish all the sweetheart deals, and fund LSU better if they want the rest of the buildings to look the same. If I give LSU one million dollars for better athletic facilities and find out it was used for a classroom, I would never give a dime to LSU again!

Whoa! Professors getting put in their place! Nice!

This is how real life is, you work hard, you overcome and you persevere and then work hard some more. When everyone says your lucky, no you make your own luck-- through hard work. These guys have earned their lockeroom. Time for that professor to do his job and earn respect before he starts crying about what other people have. Get to work you whiny b*tch professor...

That professors response is the exact reason why King Alexander needs to go. The Chicken Little bull shite over the better part of the last decade is exactly that: bull shite. LSU(the school) is like the bitter ex wife that wants to “maintain the lifestyle to which they are accustomed to” without any regard to the financial situation of the students which pay for their existence. LSU would be wise to start remembering they are here to provide a service.

It isn't the Athletic Departments fault that the Louisiana Legislature is failing to fund LSU at the proper level. The saving grace for LSU Athletics is that by LAW the Athletic Department must not accept ANY money from taxpayers allocated for Academics. If LSU was counting on state funds for athletics then they would be "living hand to mouth". Hell, LSU athletics DONATES 7 to 10 million dollars back to the academic side every year. Why don't these "professors" get off their pompous asses and go down to the Legislature and tell their story to them. That is where it needs to be heard not on Twitter or ESPN.

If the football program generated all that frickn money frick it. Those kids went out there played hard, and earned those viewers money that filled that stadium!! They DESERVE IT!! Its not like your paying them anyway!! Also when academics start pulling their weight maybe they can enjoy the fruits of their own labor!! Welcome to the real world!!
