LSU starting quarterback Jayden Daniels has been named a captain for Saturday's home opener vs. Southern University.

Daniels joins team captains BJ Ojulari, Ali Gaye, and Mike Jones Jr.

Daniels made his LSU debut in the season-opening loss to Florida State last Sunday and went 26-35 (74.3%) for 209 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran the ball 16 times for 114 yards, averaging 7.1 yards per run.
