That wasn't roughing the passer. Also, the fine is wack.

He could have pulled off the hit but that was not malicious

I'm all for protecting the QB and that probably was a late hit, but he only barely pushed Mayfield. Not a hard hit at all.

Should get his ?? worth next time

All the NFL is doing for Jamal is giving him a reason to clean the QB's clock next time since he'll get fined anyway.

He's right but if I was him, I'd remember that I'm being paid over 20 million dollars fully guaranteed to put on a show for this joke league and I keep my complaints to myself.

I mean, what’s the NFL going to do, void his deal? He’s not wrong and everyone knows it. If you fine him for this then literally every single personal foul needs to come with a fine.

I wish the league would start punishing players for making statements like this. You can’t talk about your employer like that.

If you're employer is a dipshit, sure you can. You shouldn't be immune to criticism just because you're the boss. I don't careif he has millions, it's horse shite to lose $21k to something so ticky tack. I'd be bitching too

It is what it is. Quit if you dont like it. I would fine him more money each time he has a re-occurring incident and possibly go after him for defamation if he keeps going public like that.

Why was the flag thrown by an official in the defensive secondary? Isn't he suppose to watch for pass interference? Oh, I forgot, it's the NFL and it is scripted. frick the NFL! Just another reason why it isn't allowed in my house.

Fair call on roughing the passer but in no way should a player be fined for that type of hit.

He is exactly correct. He might have gotten in a little late for roughing the passer call but it wasn't flagrant he pushed him in the chest he didn't go to the head or neck or even go low to the nique this is a bull shite fine

He's right. The NFL is a "joke" as a competitive sport league. However, when viewed as an entertainment enterprise in which the 32 shareholders manipulate events to maximize profits, it's a very serious money-maker for the 32 shareholder/owners. The NFL is more of an exhibition/show than it is a competitive sport.

It's like the WWE. It's obvious that things are scripted.
