Can you imagine being a top college football prospect and Tyrann Mathieu coming to your house to recruit you to LSU?

Well, maybe that will happen one day as the former All-American tweeted this week about being a "FUTURE LSU FOOTBALL HEAD COACH."

It would be awesome if the Honey Badger could make his way back to Baton Rouge after his playing days are over.

I told him he was, pound for pound, the best football player I had ever scene when a few years ago when he and PP were both with the cardinals and came back for an LSU, and I stand by that assessment.

Coach Honey Badger > Coach Prime

He is so wealthy he would never work that hard to coach

I see it differently, he knows how to transition hard work into success. He’s self made and has consistently worked through adversity, though in many cases self inflicted. I’m not qualified to judge his ability to coach…. But bc someone is wealthy does not mean they will not work hard, I find it to be the opposite in my world. They got there somehow.

He is the recruiter we need for New Orleans area. Who can turn down the Honey Badger. His life story should be a damn disney movie. I would love to see both Tyrann and Patrick Peterson at LSU one day. Patrick is secondary coach, Tyrann is a Special teams coach

He would be a solid recruiter and DB coach.

Given the progress he’s made in his life coming from nothing and getting better and better, I would put nothing past him. I’m on team TM7

You people are crazy. Like all of you acted the same way at 19 as 40! TM has the ability to do whatever he wants when his playing career is over. I hope he because successful enough as a coach to become LSU's HC. That would be an incredible storyline...

arcalades And he has still made more money than you could imagine! So I would say just because someone is not fully grown at 19 doesn't mean he can't be successful in life. TM is living proof of what turning your life around can do as long as you have the talent, work ethic, and drive to succeed. You can crap on him all you want I think it is a great story and hope he proves you wrong one day..

We already had that storyline with Coach O.

Great players almost always turn out to be terrible coaches. The bench riders tend to be great coaches.

if he's retired from the NFL and Raymond retires or leaves, bring him in for the DB coach position
