Multiple sources have reported that Georgia assistant coach Tony Ball is a candidate to replace former LSU wide receiver coach Adam Henry who left the staff this week to join the San Francisco 49ers.

AJC Sports confirmed that Ball will interview with LSU on Wednesday:

Georgia wide receivers coach Tony Ball is a candidate for the same position at LSU, he confirmed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Wednesday.

Ball is expected to interview for the job in Baton Rouge today.
Ball has been on the Georgia coaching staff since 2006. He spent his first three years as the teams running back coach and was named Georgia receivers coach in 2009.

Prior to his time with Georgia, he served as wide receivers coach at Virginia Tech for eight years.
