He's putting these stats up as a guy who's only started 5 games ever. I really hope he comes back next year.

He’s been one of our silver linings as far as his play this year. He’s been consistent and he’s made some really impressive throws on the money.

I love Nuss but those last 2 int's were poor choices trying to force receptions. How many passing TD's would Milroe have if didn't enjoy running long distances for TD's?

Stats means nothing if we end up punting instead of getting first downs.

Try to imagine these QB stats 10 years ago (2013 Mettenburger is probably the only exception). Apparently 2 Heismans within 4 years turns you into a quarterback school. Hope Bryce can keep it going.

Mett threw 22 TDs and 8 ints in 12 games in 2013-14. Mett was a decent QB in the Miles era. Nuss is much better.

Mett’s biggest liability was his inability to escape pressure, it was like his shoes were tied together. A solid pocket QB. Would have been better under any coach but Leslie.

Too bad every other position (but WR) had to fall

Nice. Just think about what his stats would be without all those dropped passes.

USC, UCLA, and South Carolina are all legitimate P5 programs. Not sure why you’re questioning who we’ve played

USC is the only legit minor league program on our level…and we lost.

You need to educate yourself before making a statement like this go look at the quarterbacks ahead of him.

Man our fans are dense as hell. What other team in the country played a better schedule than us this far who has a QB ranked in the top 5? LSU played as tough of a schedule or tougher than any other SEC or national QB he’s up against in these rankings. It’s not just LSU who plays average to above average OOC games to start the season. I’d say all of the teams we played so far are on par with some of the better SEC teams, some of them are on par with middle of the pack SEC teams and some are on par with the bottom of the SEC. Even South Alabama and Nicholes State. Those two teams could probably stay with or beat Miss State or Florida. We didn’t play the worst team in the FCS and we played good to average teams from the west coast. Not below average for either. South Carolina is an average to above average SEC team as well. That’s still impressive stats for this schedule. I can’t stand our dumb fans who constantly say this crap. A football team is a football team. Any football team can have a good day and play up to make it a good game for a while so stop with the nonsense. Just because we didn’t beat everyone 63-0 doesn’t mean we suck. We getting better while other teams think they’re something they aren’t. We just played a damn good game against South Alabama that’s why they looked so terrible. They’ve showed all year that they can score tons of points and we shut them down. That’s huge going into a bye week and getting ready for Ole Miss. Who just played a tough SEC game and got exposed for who they really are. No team is invincible. LSU will be just fine. The young guys are getting better and better. We will have a great team at the end of the season and going into next. We are slowly building this thing into something significant. Watch out. Of course it won’t happen this season but if Nuss comes back next year, we will have a really good team.
