Ridley, 28, played one game for the Atlanta Falcons last season; he had only three carries. His best season was 2012 when he rushed for 1,263 yards and 12 touchdowns for the New England Patriots.

"I'm very thankful to have another shot,'' the seventh-year pro said.
Ridley played at LSU from 2007-2010. His first year as a full-time starter for the Tigers came during his junior season where he rushed for 1,147 yards and 15 touchdowns.

The Natchez, Miss, native entered the 2011 NFL Draft after his junior year and was selected by the New England Patriots with 73rd overall pick in the 3rd round.

Congrats to Steven. I think his career in the NFL would have turned out much different had it not been for that injury when he was with the Patriots.

Denver just got a good back. Ridley will have something to prove. Should do well there.

He used to be a good back and was the man in NE til he developed fumblitis and hasn't been seen since. I wish the guy well and hope he can get back to who he once was. Him and Jeremy Hill, they started off as if they were gonna be awesome NFL RB's, but have fallen far since then.
