Houston Chronicle writer Aaron Wilson is reporting that former LSU running back Alfred Blue is listed as the Houston Texans starting running back with Arian Foster out with a groin injury and surgery.

Another former LSU running back Kenny Hilliard, who was drafted by Houston in the 2015 NFL Draft, is at the bottom of the depth chart for the Texans.

Blue is ready for the challenge, according to Kristie Rieken with the AP:

"You've just got to act like you've been there before and just own it," Blue said on Tuesday after practice.

"It's a great opportunity to come in and start," Blue said. "Last year I got my feet wet a little bit, started a couple of games. So I feel real confident going into this season."
The Marrero, LA native rushed for 528 yards on 169 carries with two touchdowns during his rookie season with the Texans last year.
