Former LSU punter Josh Growden is transferring to West Virginia, according to Brody Miller with The Athletic.

Growden entered the NCAA transfer portal at the end of July.

The senior from Clare, South Australia served as LSU’s holder for placekicks and was sometimes called on to punt in short field situations.

He was pretty good in the pooch punt role, can’t blame him for wanting a full gig

Smart move. If he wants any shot at the NFL, he needs more than a pooch role. Hope he kills it. Good luck, Josh.
