Former LSU cornerback Saivion Smith announced Wednesday that he has committed to Alabama.

Smith announced back in May that he would be transferring out of the program and has spent the past year at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, MS.

He is a former five-star prospect from IMG Academy and was an early enrollee in LSU's 2016 recruiting class.

Well at least you can roll and smoke with very little consequences @ bama

Smart choice kid. Now you can hold and PI all you want and not get a flag. Saban is killing our recruiting specialist head coach.

So you want us to keep players with multiple drug test fails?

Smart choice. He can get away with not only smoking blunts, but .........stolen guns.......shootouts at clubs... with basically no disciplinary action at Bammer

That is just simply not true... He would be suspended for a quarter against a Mercer quality opponent. The Bama misinformation has gotten out of hand.

But he gets a Dodge Charger

It must be that time of year. "Distribute the drop bags to LSU targets for maximum PR effect." Of course, it does work every fricking year, so.......

It was a good move for Smith. He wasn't going to start at LSU. Bama is thin at defensive back next year losing a bunch.

From the skilit to the fire! WTF!!!

He should have gone to MiamiU. He would see playing time there.

Outstanding decision. Congrats young man.

Who?

Lol, this kid must be awesome if LSU fans are so fricking pissed.

Why would we be mad? Our WR’s will actually get open now....

Who is mad? He wasn't good enough to play, so he left. Yes, we are mad an average CB left LSU and went to a douche school.

Who's mad? Most LSU fans are celebrating this. Smith couldn't cover space.

Do you think you won't have to compete there? Should have just gone to Miami baw.

I do not care enough about your decision to respect it or not

Guess he goes where there is no drug testing.....
