LSU quarterback Joe Burrow has moved to the top of ESPN's Heisman Watch following his performance in the Tigers 42-28 win over Florida last Saturday.

Burrow jumped ahead of Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts.
quote:

1. Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
Total points: 44 (first-place votes: 5)

Notable: In perhaps his toughest test of the season against Florida's defense, Burrow more than passed. LSU's star QB threw for three TDs and went 21-of-24 for 293 yards -- including 21 unanswered points in the second half -- as the Tigers beat the Gators, 42-28.

Quotable: "Burrow is the surprise superstar leading the most surprising offense in college football. As good as Tagovailoa has been for Alabama, Burrow's big-play brilliance makes it hard to put anyone else atop the Heisman candidate list." -- ESPN's Adam Rittenberg

Heisman odds (Caesars Sportsbook): 11-4
ESPN Heisman Watch:
1. Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
2. Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
3. Jalen Hurts, QB, Oklahoma
4. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin
5. Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State
6. CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma

I'm sure he will finish his career hoisting the trophy then completing the dream undefeated season. Congrats, Joe and LSU.

Burrow is the most pro ready QB in the league. His accuracy and his ability to go through progressions reminds me of Brees. I’m not saying he’s Brees. How he wasn’t projected as a 1st rounder before the season was laughable.

Its going to be real nice watching Burrow close out the season and Heisman campaign hanging 600 yds and 7 TDs on A&M.

Hurts is the product of the system he is in. Granted, Burrow is thriving in our new system, but if you actually watch the two play, you would see that Burrow is 10000000x the QB Hurts is.

LOL! Burrow is greatness. Hurts is phenomenal. Don't be such a stupid Homer that you ignore what Hurts had done.

Hurts would probably be leading if not for Mayfield and Murray

Just reading that ESPN clip you can feel how difficult it is for them to admit it too.

Please tell us all how ESPN hates little ol’ LSU. Keep in mind whatever you say will be wrong.
