In case you missed it, Ed Orgeron's weekly radio show was a doozy on Wednesday night. Callers were critical of Coach O, the team, and had some interesting comments about athletic director Joe Alleva.

A prank caller even called in...

There's the dumbass Saban comparison again. I seriously feel like repeatedly slapping some of these people. Wake. The Frick. Up!

How ignorant can they get? Saban had a rebuild! Orgeron has something like 52 4 and 5 star players on his roster!

The comment about not having a field goal kicker on the roster is crap. How can you throw your players under the bus like that? Field goal kicking is half mental, no wonder they’re missing. The coach has zero confidence in them.

CEO is right like it or not. He is telling the truth, we don't have a good FGK. Les pretty much stopped recruiting them it seems. BUT CEO is responsible since he didn't get a stud FGK before the season started and he had time to do so. This is not mentioning our crappy Kick off and below average punter. Our whole kicking game sucks and CEO had the his hands on the wheel to correct that.

The guy says we have no kicker yet decided against hiring a special teams coach. Gee... i wonder why our kicker is having a tough time???

Maybe those kickers need to change their mentality to, let me prove that sob wrong

I wanted Miles to go, but I still respected the man. I absolutely HATE the idiot who is in charge of LSU right now.

Fix it, Ed. This is not Ole Miss. You have inherited a program which fired a head coach who never had a losing season at LSU because we want better than he was giving. Step up and get it done or gtfo.

I earned this job whether you like it or not...lol. yeah but there's a prob coach o...you have to CONTINUE to coach after you get the job, frickin dumbass.

Blows my mind people feel sorry for him. I can throw on a Cajun accent and reference making family receipt roux with the best of them, but for whatever reason a beta feminine AD never paid me far above MSRP to the tune of 12 million dollars.

Have you tried making a binder?

I wonder if that was his wife that called about the Saban ULM loss. Completely different scenarios. Saban adopted a shitty program with 2.5 star talent. O adopted a powerhouse with 4 star talent.

52 four and five star players on this 2017 LSU team. no excuse for losing to troy.

I still can't believe this man has a $12mil buyout

yeah yeah every week we hear the team had a great practice and i expect to see improvememt. Then we get kicked in the mouth and fold like a cheap tent. Uf 24 - LSU 7. I wanted to go to this game to but not now.

"Off the rails" is a bigger stretch than "O is the answer."

LSU is the biggest collection of undisciplined, out-of-control players since the disastrous days of Curley Hallman, who actually looks like Vince Lombardi compared to this Line Coach we got stuck with.

How in the Hell did we end up with this two-time loser? Alleva needs to be fired along with this pathetic coach who even makes Les Miles look good.

This team better show up this week. Florida is a beatable team and if it can't get done Saturday than we might struggle to get to a bowl game. That is embarrassing. This isn't negativity, it's the absolute truth. Teams take on the personality of their head coach and from what I see of O on the sideline... well it says a lot about how this team has showed up. Don't compare O losing to Troy to Saban getting beat by UAB. Saban also got beat by ULM in his first year at Alabama and at LSU & Alabama he was rebuilding teams. O isn't rebuilding. The recruiting classes on this team is ranked as followed Seniors 3rd, Juniors 2nd, Sophomores 5th, and Freshman 7th.. 3 top 5 classes and 1 top 10. Our O line is soft, we are soft on defense, we have a Purdue transfer as a QB.. They better win this weekend.

It's not that you don't have a field goal kicker, it's that you didn't hire a fricking SPECIAL TEAMS COACH

No field goal kicker. Miles always had somebody that could at least make the chip shots. He showed us all how important that position is in this league.

Orgeron shares some blame for the disorganization of the team but I don't care who the coach is LSU has slim depth on both lines and simply can't afford all the guys who have been hurt being out. Playing true freshmen on the OL and DL is just not a good situation. I undestand why they might not know the offense just yet. Regarding the kicking woes. That is basicly a recruiting deficiency and Orgeron has been here and was interim coach. It's on him.

Depth is an excuse! We've been getting blown off the line on the first series/ quarter
12 months
excuses!! Depth and playing freshmen might matter in the 4th quarter against Bama, Auburn, etc. but NOT in the first quarter against Miss State, Syracuse, and Troy.

Oregon needs to be placed in a FEMA Camp until he can be deported to his native Lafourche Parish along with the super DIM WIT Alleva.

Ed, get the team on the plane to Gainesville Now! And get them away from all this negative crap that kills morale!
Reply12 months
team morale is based far, far more on what happens inside the program (in the locker room and on the field), rather than outside fan reaction.

Too late for avoiding negative morale, they lost to Troy.

Are there a lot of energy vampires on LSU's campus?

Even a win this week won't settle the internal strife going on with the players right now.
