LSU's Ed Orgeron joined the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday and provided some updates on Leonard Fournette who returned to practice this week.

Orgeron said Fournette looks like he is at full speed but will be monitored vs. Ole Miss this Saturday. Per NOLA.com:
quote:

"We're going to use a rotation there," Orgeron said on the weekly SEC coaches teleconference. "I asked him yesterday how he felt, what condition he was. He felt that he was fine.

"Obviously we're going to give him the football, let him do what he needs to do. He looks like he's full speed from the first two practices but we are going to monitor him a little bit to make sure he's OK. He's going to tell me that during the game, when he needs a break, when he doesn't need a break. We plan on using all three backs."
LSU and Ole Miss kickoff this Saturday night in Tiger Stadium at 8pm CT on ESPN.

I like the transparency from O but I also always liked the angle Miles took to not give the other team intel. However, its mighty boss of O to basically say "he is playing. He will do his thing. Try to stop it"

Miles: " He has an ankle..., but a want to see the field." He will start and carry the rock, Guice will be ready to run as well."
