LSU running back Lanard Fournette enters his senior season with the Tigers this year and many are expecting big things from him, including head coach Ed Orgeron.

Fournette had just 12 carries for 126 yards (7-yard average) and one touchdown last season. He also caught 6 passes for 55 yards (9.2-yard per catch average).

super impressed that this kid has stuck it out for four years, kept his nose clean and risen out of the shadow of an all time LSU legend who happens to be his older brother. seeing what goes on here and elsewhere w the “play me now or i leave” prima donnas and the advent of the transfer portal and the general gotta have it NOW attitude, Lanard has certainly exceeded my expectations. don’t know him, but that shows some serious substance. respect earned.

Would love to see this happen. With so many weapons, my only fear is it may be tough to get all of them a lot of early touches.
