With LSU safety Todd Harris out for the season with a knee injury, the Tigers need to find players who can step up and add depth at the position.

During his weekly radio show on Wednesday night, head coach Ed Orgeron named defensive backs Kary Vincent Jr. and Kenan Jones as two players that can help out at safety.

Orgeron also added that JaCoby Stevens could be used more at free safety as the season goes along.

Kenan Jones is an incredible athlete. I could see him coming along much the same way as Patrick Queen did.

Exactly, I was thinking Monroe was the next man up a couple years ago, until he got hurt. What's going on with him and Lewis?

I thought Monroe would be battling with Harris for the starting position. I'm surprised he has moved so far down the depth chart, he looked good last year.
