LSU cornerback Jontre Kirklin has spent the past two days at practice working with the slot wide receivers as the coaching staff is hoping to get the playmaker involved on offense.

Orgeron talked about Kirklin on Wednesday's SEC Coaches Teleconference and called the former star Lutcher quarterback "electric" and said he has been trying to get him on offense all season.

Here is video from Monday's practice of Kirklin working with the wide receivers:

Jefferson has been our only consistent receiver and even he dropped a first down on the final drive against Florida. If the receivers can't get open then the play calling is going to be limited. At least Coach O is trying to spark the offense. I remember a national championship game when we didn't cross the 50 and had NFL talent sitting on the bench

Curious with the call based on the amplified amount of talent we have a WR already
