Ed Orgeron spoke to the media after practice on Thursday and said that he doesn't think "there's anyway" that cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. plays vs. Auburn as he continues to recover from his foot injury.

Stingley Jr. was forced to sit out of the Mississippi State game last Saturday after he reinjured his foot in practice earlier in the week.

Orgeron said Wednesday that Stigley Jr. would be traveling out of town to see a doctor for a second opinion.

Still waiting to find out why he didn’t play against Miss St. in 2020?? Mysterious illness?? Never figured that one out. Set the tone for 2020 season. Anyway don’t think we will see him again as a tiger.

He might just come out like the Waterboy in the third quarter and run a punt back for paydirt. Jesus if Stingley was a cajun

Something tells me we’ve seen the last of Derek Stingley, Jr. in an LSU uniform.
