Freshman wide receiver Malik Nabers has been getting a lot of praise from head coach Ed Orgeron and quarterback Max Johnson this week.

Nabers, a four-star prospect from Youngsville, LA, transferred high schools after his junior season but was ruled ineligible by the LHSAA and was forced to sit out his senior season.

The time off has not slowed down Nabers who had an impressive showing in LSU's scrimmage last Saturday with four catches for 70 yards and a touchdown.
