I believe him. It happens. Young men are often influenced by others around them and end up in a bad place. I respect him for accepting it like a man.

I hope he gets his life in order. Somebody should've helped him with that message, though.

Here's the truth, you made a big mistake obviously. Now only YOU can fix it, it's all up to you to make the right decision, own it and change your decision making. Action speaks a whole lot better than words, best of luck to you.

Punctuation is very overrated imho.

It is more apparent that our educational systems are that which are overrated. They are failing kids, setting them up for failure in life, and failing society that actually funds the garbage.

@mike - his grammar isn't from what he was taught during school, rather it comes from his friends in da hood that invent their own languages and then get pissy when someone doesn't understand their gobbledy asian.

I think that it bears mentioning that this is an example of the literary journey of a college student athlete in the year 2020. I personally think it’s become an almost accepted form of child abuse by both parents and educators alike that will hold these young people back in life, and will put them at a real disadvantage going forward in the real world when nobody cares about their athletic abilities any longer.

There is no such thing as a student-athlete any more. If you're a good athlete you get a pass. You're admitted to the university with lower scores than are required for others. Listen to most of these "student-athletes" when they speak. They can't put two coherent sentences together. It's an embarrassment to our state, to our educational system, and to humanity that we allow this into our collegiate educational system. No wonder people are making fun of us. Our football teams in the south are great, but the players are idiot savants. They can play ball, but can't even spell their own damned names.

He should probably talk with his lawyer regarding lengthy social media posts about his arrest. “Anything you say can and will be used against you...”
