Devin White Named SEC Defensive Player Of The Week

LSU sophomore linebacker Devin White was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week for his dominant performance against Arkansas on Saturday.

This is the third time that White has been named the defensive player of the week this season. Per SECSports.net:

Devin White, LB, LSU

· Led LSU with 14 tackles, one shy of tying his career-high, in 33-10 win over Arkansas.

· Had a half-tackle for a loss and a QB hurry in the victory as the Tigers limited the Razorbacks to 318 total yards.

· Tied at 7-7 at halftime, LSU held the Razorbacks to only a field goal in the second half as the Tigers outscored the Hogs, 26-3, over the final two quarters.

· Had his sixth double-digit tackle game and ran his SEC leading tackles total to 103, an average of 10.3 a contest.
