LSU star linebacker Devin White spoke to reporters on Saturday in Arizona ahead of the Tigers' Fiesta Bowl matchup vs. UCF and called the Knights' national title claim 'embarrassing.' Per The Advocate:

Asked Saturday if he had seen quotes from his teammates Friday that UCF was coming into Tuesday’s Fiesta Bowl against LSU to try to win another national championship, the Tigers' All-American linebacker said, “Man, I hope not. That’s one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever seen.

“It’s great media coverage for them. That’s all I know they’re looking at it is, as a media stunt.”

UCF heads into the Fiesta Bowl with a 25-game winning streak.

Devin- I have all the respect in the world for you as a Tiger, But you are wrong here. Alabama won an "invitational Tournament" last year which they realistically shouldn't have been invited to, and based on that they "claimed" a national championship Central Florida won a Bowl game they were invited to, and afterwards they also "Claimed" a national championship It's not about whether or not UCF's claim is more or Less valid than the Gumps. The fact is neither team Can claim they are the true champion based on the results. UCF had a better arguement form being in the Tourbament than Alabama.
