LSU head coach Ed Orgeron met with the media after practice on Thursday and talked about the teams upcoming game vs. Alabama on Saturday.

Orgeron said that wide receiver Dee Anderson will likely play in some capacity Saturday as he continues to work himself back up the depth chart.

Anderson, a 6-5 sophomore from Desoto, TX, played last week vs. Ole Miss but did not record any stats.

Orgeron said Anderson was standout during LSU's Tiger Bowl scrimmage last week and caused issues for the defense.

On the other side of the ball, Orgeron said that defensive coordinator Dave Aranda will make a game-time decision as to who will start at linebacker: senior Donnie Alexander or true freshman Tyler Taylor.

Orgeron would not reveal whether or not linebacker Sci Martin would travel with the team to Alabama. Martin, a sophomore from New Orleans, returned to practice this week for the first time since August.

I hope Taylor gets the majority of snaps over Alexander. We need as much beef in the middle as possible and Alexander hasn't impressed me much this year...
