LSU junior linebacker and Butkus Award winner Devin White has already announced that he will be playing in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1 but the real question is will he be back with the Tigers for the 2019 season?

While White has already said he wants to focus on the bowl game before making his NFL decision, teammate Patrick Queen said Tuesday that White has already told some of the players that he will be back next season.

White was asked about Queen's comments on Tuesday afternoon...

Let's just say, "He's not quite the best ever at LSU, but with one more season..."

Go get paid Devin...no reason to come back. You won't improve your draft stock and college football will still be fixed so you won't be playing for a championship.

Should he come back? No...DO i want him back? Who doesn't! He's a class act and hope he stays, but will cheer for him on sundays like he's still at LSU.

This kid loves LSU more than any other player I know of...... Maybe his attitude might set the gold standard for total commitment to LSU much like Bama gets from their players

If anything were to happen to one of these players while trying to help LSU, I assure you that he will be wealthy no matter what. This State would never turn their back on a kid like this. Its his decision and he should make it himself. No one would be mad at him either way.

And what happens if he ends up like Marcus Lattimore? He needs to get his 1st round money which will be way more than that insurance policy. Be logical not sentimental Devin.

He hinted at this back in early November, he WILL be back.

By the way, Devin White will have a $10,000,000 insurance policy should he return to LSU for his Senior year. This policy is for any player projected to be drafted in the 1st 2 rounds of the NFL Draft. It is financed by a low interest loan and is due to be paid off upon his draft into the following NFL Draft. If injured the loan is simply paid off when the $10,000,000 is paid. Therefore Devin White is guaranteed to be a wealthy man should he decide to return to LSU for his Senior season.

Not entirely true. There’s a ton of messed up stories regarding those insurance policies. A lot of guys have gotten screwed bad.

Who is going to pay for this policy?

Yes it is entirely true. Instead of you nitwits debating the value if the policy why don't you do your research and then make comments. I don't have to prove your laziness and ignorance. The policy is legit.

Tim Brown sold the 1987 Heisman for less than $500k after signing $28.5M in contracts over his career. Education will be much more valuable to Devin in the long run. The NFL money may not last but being a hero in LA does last and assures earning opportunities. Also, not giving up his Senior year may mean more to him than money.

"being a hero in LA does last" That has to be a troll. Go get your money Devin. It has the ability to make your and your families lives better for generations to come.

"Education will be much more valuable to Devin in the long run. "... he's majoring in Sports Management, like 90% of the other players. Yes, graduating in any major is a good thing, but let's not pretend a Sports Management degree is the golden ticket to a lucrative future.

He needs to do what's best for him, not what's best for LSU. You don't risk first-round $ by coming back for another year. If he gets McKenzie Miltoned, then what? Fans will say, "He should've gone pro." Take the $ and run, Devin. Thanks for your relentless desire and effort during your time here.

Yep and money is what’s best? Not by a long shot. He’ll never buy another senior year no matter how much he makes. He can write history. Some pretty good players have come back for their senior years.

Maybe returning his what's best for him?

Why can Bama have studs come back for their Sr. year and win and championship and it's ok? You only have one chance to play for colors and your school. He has the rest of his life to make money. I say, if he wants to stay and play for school, support him! Think about how all NFL players eventually make their way back to their school after the NFL. It obviously means more to them than the show! Just my thoughts.

Kevin Faulk did it. If Devin White wants to return then I will respect him even more than I already do.

Really great that Faulk is on staff now as the key representative to the players (Director of Player Development).

Kevin Faulk, Billy Cannon, Jerry Stoval, Tommy Casanova, Michael Brooks, Bert Jones, Dalton Hilliard, Devery Henderson, The great Glen Dorsey, many other great Tigers stayed the 4 years, they all did OK, so can Devin, come on back Tiger, join the Greats of all time.

If you had any clue what that song means to the LSU football program, you would take that comment back!
