Update: LSU has confirmed that Mike Denbrock is taking the Notre Dame OC job.

Original:
Multiple sources are reporting that LSU offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock is taking the Notre Dame offensive coordinator job at Notre Dame.

Denbrock received a three contract extension to remain at LSU this month but the contract still needed to be approved by the LSU Board of Supervisors and Denbrock did not sign the contract.

Denbrock spent two seasons in Baton Rouge and was a Broyles Award finalist in 2023. He returns to Notre Dame for his third time in his coaching career.

Everybody loved Brady, MEH.

Unlike our previous two head coaches, CBK knows how to spot and hire coaching talent.

Everyone was singing the praises of House in year one. House had a very young roster, lots of injuries, and a bad portal haul.

So why take an equal job? Maybe he just wanted to be up north?! We have the money to pay him, so why? Do we have our eyes set on a Better candidate ?

I appreciate that he came and helped right the ship. When we needed a known, credible, and trusted name, he was it. Good luck at ND till we play them

Meh, I think he was a little overrated. I think his poor playing calling in short yardage cost us our 1st 2 losses.

As others have stated. I think his success was directly tied to Jayden, Malik and Brian being exceptional players.

All quality and successful coaches have good records because of quality player talent - regardless of the sport.

Well Bye
His "success" was due to Jayden, Malik and Brian.

It doesn’t make sense, as an Offensive Coordinator, to leave The Heisman House.
