No. 13 LSU heads into their first open date of the season with a 4-1 (1-0 SEC) record.

The Tigers return to action on October 12, playing Ole Miss in Tiger Stadium at 6:30 pm on ABC. It will be LSU's first of seven straight conference games to finish the regular season.

The Tigers will also have a second open week on Saturday, November 2. Here's a look at the remaining schedule:

Oct. 12 vs. Ole Miss
Oct. 19 at Arkansas
Oct. 26 at Texas A&M
Nov. 9 vs. Alabama
Nov. 16 at Florida
Nov. 23 vs. Vanderbilt
Nov. 30 vs. Oklahoma

It will be tough for LSU to get into the 12-team playoff with three losses, but if they have just two overall losses at the end of the season, the Tigers will be in the hunt.

How do you see the rest of the season unfolding for LSU?

Beat Ole Miss at home in an intense game.

Narrowly survive a physical letdown game against Arkansas.

Narrowly lose to A&M in a difficult road game.

Rest up during the BYE but still lose to Alabama.

Get right games against Florida and Vanderbilt.

arse-whooping of Oklahoma to finish strong.

Why BAMA TROLLS stay on this site is beyond me. They need to outlaw inbreeding in Alabama and they need to let them know there is life and a world outside of the Alabama borders. Also, they need to let them know that football is a sport and not a religion. I forgot. Inbred people would not understand anyway. Scratch that. Let the inbreds be.

I beg to differ-
“ On the East Coast, football is a cultural experience. In the Midwest, it's a form of cannibalism. On the West Coast, it's a tourist attraction. And in the South, football is a religion, and Saturday is the holy day.”

ATLSU Fan,
Well, Vandy would not beat LSU, in BR!

You stop Milroe and you stop BAMA. We have athletes and pride. Beating BAMA means more to Kelly than beating any other team he faces. One man, Milroe, should not be able to beat LSU.

LSU does not have athletes at that level. The defense is simply too under tooled to compete with the good ones. 9-3 is a great season!

I've been saying that for 2 years! Put a LB spy on Milroe the whole game! Make him become a pocket passer and Bama's offense stalls!

But Vanderbilt does? Sooooo LSU does not have the athletes to compete with Bama?

2022 we finished 10-4 and ranked #12. We would have made the current system playoff, if it were in effect. A close loss only to BAMA and Ole Miss, if they both finish finish in the top 10 and we are in. The SEC is just that strong. NO DOUBT!

The problem is, LSU loss there opener to USC. And losing that game, cost them a spot in the playoffs. Because they will definitely lose at least two more games.

4-3 will be their record. Hell, they could lose or win them all. Vandy is not a given this season.
