During his press conference on Monday, head coach Brian Kelly was asked about LSU's offensive line, which changed after the Florida State loss.

Kelly was happy with what he saw out of the new group, led by Charles Turner at the center spot, and said he was impressed by freshman Emery Jones. For now the starting OL will continue to be:

LT: Will Campbell
LG: Garrett Dellinger
C: Charles Turner
RG: Anthony Bradford
RT: Miles Frazier
quote:

"We were pleased with that starting five, Kelly said. "I think you can expect to see that moving forward. I think there are some guys who distinguished themselves. The two freshmen played well. Emery Jones played well. I think you will see more of him in the rotation. I feel pretty confident to tell you here today that the way it graded out was what we were hoping for."

"There is still going to be a need to rotate guys in," Kelly said. "Cam Wire is still going to have to play for us. Tre'Mond Shorts is still going to have to play for us. There will still need to be rotations within this group. It's not five for the whole game. But I think you add Emery now. He did some good things for us."

No Kardell Thomas in the mix??

Kardell looks like a slob he’s probably past on the depth chart. He’d do well transferring across town to Southern. He might be able to play there but it sure isn’t going to be at LSU.

Arguably the biggest bust over the past few years. Different coaching staff, same results, means he over rated.
