Brian Kelly spoke with reporters after practice on Thursday and was asked about LSU defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey, who has been away from the team since the beginning of fall camp to deal with a "personal health matter."

I mean no in the grand scheme it makes no difference but dropping us after a win is the dumbest most inconsistent way of doing things. Our defense has issues but Ohio State nearly lost that game to ND. They won’t drop any of those teams. Washington is also clearly the best team right now. We have some serious issues on Defense but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed with some personnel movement and our players actually studying a team. Our DC needs to require more from them during game week. Quiz the shite out of them. They don’t know the opponents plays, don’t start em.

They need A DL line coach now. DL has played below average the last few games. Nobody is coaching them up.
