Crystal LoGiudice-USA TODAY Sports
LSU coach Les Miles recently expressed interest in getting talented LSU freshman basketball player Ben Simmons on the football squad as a wide receiver.

Whether or not Miles was joking around, he did get a response from Simmons who is currently in Australia with the rest of the LSU Basketball team.

Simmons posted a message via "Uninterrupted" on Bleacher Report and said that he can play wideout but he's is not too keen on wearing a helmet.

We can work on that though...

for as high of a talent as he is, Fball shold not be an option. But if he was a lower tier bball guy, say 2nd round or later, Fball should be a strong $$ lure. More of a play it now option in fball.

We don't need help at receiver. We need a superstar in cbb. This is going to be a great football season and bball season.

Please don't ruin your BB future. A strong safety would take his knees out on about the third play from scrimmage
