NBC Sports is reporting that former LSU star and current Cleveland Browns linebacker Barkevious Mingo has torn his meniscus and will need to have a surgery.

According to multiple reports, Mingo will have arthroscopic knee surgery on Thursday after tearing his meniscus in a training camp practice. There’s no specific timeline for when he’s going to be back, but it will be multiple weeks and that’s not a good development for the sixth overall pick of the 2013 draft.
Mingo played 15 games last season and recorded 42 combined tackles.
