When LSU quarterback Joe Burrow takes the field on Saturday afternoon he will be playing against his former Ohio State teammate and current Auburn cornerback Jamel Dean.

Dean, who transferred to Auburn after his freshman year at Ohio State, talked about Burrow and said he probably wants to show the Buckeyes that he "should have been there playing.”

What also won’t be foreign to Burrow is cornerback Jamel Dean. Dean and Burrow, both former Ohio State Buckeyes, both traveled very different paths to wind up in the SEC. When asked about the quarterback Tuesday, Dean’s face lit up.

“I actually like Joe Burrow,” Dean said with a smile. “I was already campus (at Ohio State) but he was still there. I’m pretty sure, if he felt like how I felt, he’ll probably have a chip on his shoulder and he probably wants to prove to Ohio State why he should’ve been there playing.”

Nothing against Joe, but it's pretty obvious that Urban made the right call.

Maybe so but Joe would look a lot different in Ohio States offense that he’s been in for the last 3years

So....the wide receivers dropping balls everywhere is why Urban made the right call?

Our offensive line is our weakest link. Let’s get that shored up and then see what he’s got

Will Jamel Dean's admiration of Joe Burrow help the Tigers of LSU beat Alabama this year?

@blob fish.....that comment says a whole lot more about you...than who ever it was directed at!..7...(seven). Mental health counselors/physicians unanimously recommended intense therapy (Oedipal, misogony, sexual violence issues)

The admiration he receives from former teammates and current coaches/teammates is pretty amazing.
