Army coach Jeff Monken spoke with reporters on Tuesday to discuss the upcoming game against LSU in Tiger Stadium.

This weekend's matchup will be the second meeting between the two schools, with Army winning the first matchup at Westpoint in 1931, 20-0.

As for Saturday, Monken says he is hopeful starting quarterback Bryson Daily will be ready to play after leaving last week's game with a leg injury.

"We've got a great opponent we're playing this week," Monken said. "It's a great opportunity for our players to be able to square off against some of the best football players in America... People do the research and all that stuff all the time, and they say, who are the teams that really have a chance to win a National Championship, there's about 10 of them out of 133 schools. LSU is one of them. It'll be a great challenge for us, a great opportunity."

Starting Army OG (Connor Finnucan) was a good DT at local Catholic HS. Not only is this his fourth season to start, but kid is a great student. Tigers should Take care of business
