Arkansas safety Santos Ramirez from Shreveport, LA spoke with the media this week ahead of the LSU game and had some interesting comments about quarterback Brandon Harris. Per ArkansasNews.com:
quote:

“He is predictable where he wants to go. He has got a good arm on him but he’s not as accurate,” Ramirez said. “He’s not very good with the ball in terms of decision making but he can really throw the ball and he can get receivers behind us and we have to be careful with it.”
Harris has thrown for 1226 yards and 10 touchdowns with 1 interception this season. He also has 180 yards rushing with 3 touchdowns on the ground.

Ramirez, a class of 2014 three star prospect from Evangel Christian Academy was recruited by LSU as a fullback but committed to Arkansas to play safety.
quote:

“I have been looking forward trying to get to LSU,” Ramirez said. “I have some past ties with them and I want to get down there and show them what I’m all about.”
LSU and Arkansas will kickoff at 6:15pm CT on ESPN.

He balanced criticism with compliments, but it was too late.

Recruited as a fullback but now plays safety? That doesn't make any sense.

Harris will be fine. He has less than a season under his. He's still a 19 year old true sophomore.

Harris threw terrible balls to a wide open Fournette. His short game passing is needed more than the deep ball.

Oh by the way, the dude is 6'2" and weighs 202#. A 202# Fullback? Really? Kinda hard to believe.

Well that just pretty much guaranteed Harris throws for 300 and 4 TD's. And Fournette trucks this guy at least twice.
