Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley said Monday at SEC Media Days that former LSU cornerback Tre'Davious White is the best defensive back he has ever faced.

Ridley also said last year's game between the Crimson Tide and the Tigers was the toughest game they had last season.

At least Saban and his players are keeping it classy, unlike the naked shark-rider to their east.

Exactly we already know this at least the players are willing to admit but the radio personalities and their fans are not

LSU and bama are very close from a talent perspective. It's been that way since saban has been there. We have to make a couple of more plays every game and we will beat them. It's really close though. LSU is one of the few teams that gets bamas attention and gets their best shot too. Gonna be anothere good game this year again.

He didn't get any love from other fan bases because we never heard his name. But that's because opposing teams didn't throw to his side of the field, because that WR was never open. He's going to be all pro in the NFL very quickly.

Tre White is an incredibly "sticky" CB. Will be a great NFL player

Ridley plays offense. From his point of view, LSU was the toughest opponent maybe.

Well good thing the LSU defense doesn't play "just the tip."

"Just the tip" is great for foreplay before you ground and pound. Just sayin'

This goes to show you that the talking heads are just that talkers. Their fans have been a joke for years. If we can hold them with the offense they had last year well then I guess this year might be THE year then. We will see soon if the offensive play calling was indeed the issue or if LSU is just out manned. I'm willing to bet on the latter.

I think a little of both. Coach O said we need to recruit better to keep pace and he hired Coach C. for the play calling. If both are accomplished we should be able to achieve victory. It's Really that close!

I mean I'd say the Clemson game was the toughest but maybe he just meant SEC games? I think offensively the LSU game was the toughest but didn't LSU only have like 5 or 6 first downs the whole game?!

Maybe he meant physically tough. Yeah they lost to Clemson but it was a bit of a track meet. Not extremely physical.

He's referring to his side of the ball. 0-0 at halftime. LSU's defense was spectacular that night. It goes without saying LSU's defense was the best Alabama faced last yr.I think its safe to say Clemson was the overall best team that Bama faced.
