Alabama LB Mack Wilson Says Devin White's Hit Was Not Targeting
by TD Staff Reporter
October 25, 201820 Comments

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports
Earlier in the week, Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson spoke with reporters and said that he thought Devin White's hit on quarterback Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald was not targeting.
"From my view, I don't think it looked like targeting," Wilson said. "It looked like he pushed him but the official is going to call what he calls."
Wilson also was asked how much It can hurt to lose a player and signal caller like White on defense.
“It can a lot,” Wilson said. “I’m pretty sure Devin’s the signal caller, like myself. That may hurt them a lot, it may not. They might have somebody behind him that can step up and fill his shoes pretty well. But that definitely can hurt a defense with the Mike linebacker being out for the first half of a big game."
